I AM MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE

Take a look. What do you "see"? Some people are more than meets the eye.
I know, because I'm one of them.
This was a hard one for me. If you've seen my art, it's usually colored with line art. I wanted so badly to break away from lines because I don't want to be constrained by boundaries, literally and figuratively. I want to live freely on my own terms and have that expressed in my art as well. Not only have I taken the lines away, I've broken away from my cascades of fanart. I can proudly say that this is 100% original. 100% MINE. As the famous Andrew Loomis wrote in his opening chat to the reader in his book "Figure Drawing: For all it's Worth," "Individuality of expression is, without question, an artist's most valuable asset." I want to live by this everyday as long as I draw. Fanart sells well, but to me, creating something completely original is priceless.
